The book of Jude is this beautiful… well, you can’t call it a letter, it’s more like a post card. Look at verse 24, “Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.” Do you see what this verse is telling us? This is a praise, a doxology; Jude is signing off in his writing and he’s saying, “Before I go … Glory to God who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.” Let me say this, if there is any way you’re going to stand before God as perfect, it’s not going to be because of anything you’ve done. God is going to do it. God can, and He promises he will. This is a verse that, when you get really forlorn, bummed-out, depressed, stuck in some kind of pit of human nature, and you just don’t think you’re ever going to be able to break loose and be free of what you’re wresting with – when you feel like, “I just don’t think I’m going to make it,” you go to this verse. This is a verse for healing. “Now unto him who is able to keep you from falling and present you faultless in the presence of His glory …” God can present you faultless before the presence of His glory “…with exceeding joy”. And that’s exactly what He’s promising throughout the Bible. Are you still reading your Bible every day? Doesn’t it just make you feel unbelievably special when you find these incredible promises? And don’t those promises make you want to break out into praise? Keep reading. Read everyday and let God reveal to you His promises and His amazing love.
May The Lord Jesus Christ Be Magnified!
